4 1/2 Months Later....it finally arrives in the mail!!

A mere 4.5 months after successful completion of my FAA check ride I finally received my permanent certificate in the mail! Visibility into the processing status of your pilot's license is murky at best. No on-line system exists for you to track the progress. I simply made numerous phone calls to the Flight Standards District Office (FSDO) in San Antiono. From there I was able to determine what the problem was and get my (very helpful) DE to rectify the problem. Oh well....it's over for now! The next big FAA paperwork adventure with start when I get my Instrument rating or my Commercial rating. In the meantime I'm just going to have fun flying!
